A: REC 90 is recommended however 93 octane is acceptable to run in the unit.
A: We do not provide roadside assistance. Signing up for AAA or if you put insurance on your scooter you can add roadside assistance. In the event you get a flat tire or your belt pops it is a good idea to have an option to get the scooter to our shop.
A: We do not provide mobile services. All services are done at the dealership and it is the customers responsibility to get the bike to us.
A: Any parts associated with the engine & electrical defect caused at time of manufacturing is covered for 1 year. Power & Play honors the manufacturer warranty and does not offer any extended warranty or labor warranty.
A: Your idle needs to be adjusted. Sometimes this happens during the break in period. Just stop by the store and we will make the quick adjustment needed at no charge.
A: Manufacturer defects will show up upon the first initial ride of the scooter. This may be inconvenient however once corrected the issue should be resolved. We understand this can be frustrating and will quickly resolve any issue you may have.
A: We do not return or exchange scooters. We do offer full service to address any issues you may have to get your new unit satisfactory.
A: Your hard plate is available for pickup at the dealership usually about 3 weeks after purchase. We do not call or mail out plates. It is the customers responsibility to pick up the plate before the temp tag expires.
A: If you are not riding your scooter enough your battery will slowly lose a charge. We recommend for our customers who do not ride their new scooters daily to put a trickle charge/battery tender/maintainer on your scooter whenever you are not riding. You can purchase the 12V trickle charge at our store, harbor freight or amazon.
A: Once you kickstart your scooter you need to get your battery charged. The scooter does not produce enough power to recharge a low battery. You can bring the battery to the dealership or any auto store to have your battery charged. Continuously using your kickstart will result in your battery needing to be replaced.
